Being part of a lifeboat crew, Noirmont Point is a very special mark that I know well. It marks one of the most turbulent coastal parts of Jersey’s south coast due to the run off’s to the south and the sweeping spring tides running east/west. Seeing it from the shore like this makes you realise just how hardy it is, standing alone and protecting us from its rocky outcrops.
